This winter holiday is perfect for couples and families who wish to spend time together and explore the arctic adventures and each other in a magical environment. Imagine going on private Northern lights tours with a max number of 4-8 persons in the groups, enjoying an evening dinner adventure in unique buildings, staying for hours on the beach looking for beach crab, small fish and sea shell, and have the possibility to play in the snow and ice. Accommodation:
Clarion hotel Bryggen: 4* A modern hotel located on the quay. The restaurant has a view to the harbour, they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel has an outdoor hot tub overlooking the harbour, for guest usage.
Havnnes Handelssted: An old bank building at the historic trading post and fishery located in the midst of the Lyngenfjord.
Kilpisjarvi Cabins: Modern log cabins are located between the adjacent Kilpisjärvi lake and the impressive mount Saana. A spring runs thru the area of the log cabin village. So it is a perfect spot for your stay.
Soppero Gamme or lodge: Staying at a samii camp in the midst of the Swedish samii district. Relax your body and soul in the ground hut, or lavvo, listening to the cracking fire.fire.
Kiruna ice hotel: Each week, until the end of the year when it is completed, a new part of ICEHOTEL will open up to guests and visitors. It is the darkest time of the year, the sun never reaches above the horizon. But the snow glistens and crunches under your shoes and the chances of seeing the Northern Lights dance across the sky, are very favorable

1 night: Dinner at the sea shore fish restaurant: The local fish restaurant on the sea shore serving fresh seafood dishes all year. Opened in 2009.
Day 1:
Dog sledding at Camp Tamok
Picture yourself sitting on your sled as it glides through the snow covered tundra being pulled by excited huskies. The snow capped peaks are off in the distance and its easy to imagine you are following in the footsteps of Amundsen. Then you stop. You can feel the fresh air bite your cheeks and you can smell the snow in the air, as you sit on your sled through the winter night.This adventure is quietness, howling of huskies, darkness, snow and cold. Being out in the cold, it is nice to know that a bonfire is waiting to defrost you. Dinner included.

Afternoon transfer to Havnnes:
Private evening northern lights search at the old trading post and fishery Havnnes. Havnnes is situated on the island Uloy strategically positioned in the Lyngen fjord. At Havnnes they still produce stockfish in the winter and “Lutefisk” in the autumn for markets in Europe and Nigeria. Your host Hege will take you on a tour into the production facilities of Lutefisk and stock fish. Your accommodation for the night will be the bank building which used to house the local bank.
Evening meal from the arctic sea. Wine for dinner. Breakfast served in the morning before we continue on our journey to Finland and Sweden.
Daytime exploring the island of Uloy on your own. Fantastic view of the great Lyngen Alps and glaciers.

Day 2:
We continue on our scenic tour via Lyngsfjord, along fjords and mountains raising straight out of the water, to our new destination Kilpisjarvi. Kilpisjarvi is the name of the lake close to the little finish village by the same name, a few miles across the border from Norway. The area is very popular for leisure among Norwegians. For years there has been a tradition that Norwegians drive to Kilpisjarvi to shop meat. A curious tradition born of the fact that meat is a lot cheaper in Finland and Sweden than in Norway. Most Tromso adults grew up as so-called “meat-children”, since our parents filled their cars up with children in order to buy as much meat as possible in Finland. The history is that you could buy 10 kg meat per grown up and 5 kg meat per child.

Snowmobile to the three-state-border: Snowmobiling is Laplanders’ favourite sport and this safari is a perfect introduction to this sport. You’ll get a thorough briefing from the guides and find out how easy it is to handle a snowmobile. Sooner than you
know you’ll be on your way – the snowmobiles glide onto the frozen lake and head towards the three-state border where Finland, Sweden and Norway meet. Breaks will be made from time to time, for you to stretch your limbs, admire the scenery and take photos. A hot beverage will be served during the safari.

Day 3:
Arctic lights tour to Soppero: From Kilpis we travel by Jeep to Soppero in mid Sweden. We travel along the highway named “The northern Lights route” through Norway and Finland before we enter Swedish Lapland in Karesuando. We end our tour at Britt-Marie Labba in the little saamii village Soppero. Walk around the village on your own or enjoy the horses, dogs and reindeer.
True saamii living: Britt Mari and Per Nils welcome us as old friends of the family. We are introduced to their history from ancient times up till today. The family have a herd of reindeer in the Swedish plains, in the summer they migrate across the borders to Norway. We will bake saamii bread over open fire and enjoy a nice lunch prepared the traditional way. In the evening there is a perfect opportunity to search for the northern lights. The sky in this area usually twinkles with millions of stars.

Day 4:
Ráidu - Reindeer and Sami culture: Arriving at Nutti Saamii Siida you are ready for a frosty experience in winter Lapland. We offer a short reindeer drive sitting on the sled. Sami culture, feeding the reindeer and lunch in a Sami tent around the sparkling fire.

Ice hotel in Kiruna: Afternoon transfer to the ice hotel in Kiruna. What is ICEHOTEL? A hotel built of ice and snow, would be the most common response. The first and the largest in the world, someone might add.
This is what we have promised to offer the rest of the world; with Jukkasjärvi and Torne River as a starting point, develop and offer sensuous, inspiring and unique experiences within art, nature, accommodation and gastronomy. That reflects all seasons of the year.
It is not a only a hotel we build each winter, it is an ephemeral art project.

Northern lights, Esrange Space Center & Dinner under the stars:This tour, organized in cooperation with the Swedish Institute of Space Physics, takes us in search of the northern lights either to Esrange Space Center or Aurora Sky Station located in Abisko. Transfer and a three-course dinner with local ingredients included.

Day 5:
Departure. Transfer to the Kiruna airport.
