Hi Anja, yesterday I came back from Norway although my mind will definitely need a few more days to relive all the great impressions I had! I am writing you this to tell you that the river boat safari was FANTASTIC!!! Victor - my guide - was great and he showed me a lot a beautiful sights including the big waterfall - what a sight! Thank you very much for the perfect organization of this trip - all went well!

Reisa river over millennia carved down the mountain plateau, forming the elongated Reisadalen. In the flood zone along the river's dense deciduous trees, interspersed with red currant and wild Rubus arcticus. The river is partly surrounded by steep mountain walls, where large and small waterfalls plunge down into the valley along vertical granite walls into a narrow river gorge with numerous potholes. Further inland plateau change the landscape character and goes into far-flung mountain heaths and bogs. In the southern part of the Reisa National Park, in Njállaávži the border to Finland, we find the country's northernmost occurrence of wild spruce.

The bus no 150 departs from Tromso
Prostneset at 14.10 (2.10pm) on Friday afernoon, arriving Storslett at 17.25 (5.25pm). Pick up at Storslett hotel Norlandia at 18.30 (6.30pm) for river boating. Departure from Storslett at 13.45 (1.45pm), arriving Tromso at 18.00 (6pm).
