Clarion hotel Bryggen: 4* A modern hotel located on the quay. The restaurant has a view to the harbour, they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel has an outdoor hot tub overlooking the harbour, for guest usage.

Activities:

Day 1:

Icefishing: (10am-5pm)
You are picked up in the city to go to Lyngen for Icefishing. Enjoy staying at a lake in the midst of the spectacular Lyngen Alps. These peaks grow straight out of the sea and into the sky, at the highest they rage 2000m above sea level.


(4pm-12am)
4pm. Coach to the village Skjervoy return on the coastal steamer: We recommend this local coach tour from Tromso city along and across fjords to Skjervoy. You drive through the pass between the great peaks of the Lyngen Alps – raging from 2000m above sea level straight into the sea. At Skjervoy the Coastal Steamer ship is waiting for you to embark. The journey goes among islands and islets in the outskirts of Tromso. From the ship it is possible to look for the northern lights. On request you can book dinner in the restaurant.

Day 2-3: Pick up at hotel
(10am- to next day 2pm) Lyngen winter adventure – dogsled and snowmobile: I am pleased to offer Dogsledding in the midst of the spectacular mountain range "Lyngsalpan". Your accommodation is in cabins is situated out of Tromso city. You will be picked up at your hotel in Tromso and brought out to your cabin. The dogsled activity will take place in the evening, under the spectacular arctic sky, you search for the northern lights. The next morning, you have breakfast in your cabin, before you snowmobile from the seaside to the foot of the most famous mountain range in Norway "Lyngsalpan". Some of the peaks in this range rage from 2000m straight into the deep sea. After snowmobiling you return to Tromso and check in at your hotel.

Note!!! This activity is not possible if there is no snow.

Included: transport from Tromso return, dinner, dogsled, accommodation in cabin, breakfast ,and snowmobile.

Day 3:

Northern lights photo tour (7pm-12am)
Our expert northern lights photographer and guide will pick you up at your hotel and take you away from the lights of the city to the best possible place to see this incredible phenomenon. If conditions are right you’ll get to experience the dancing lights and learn the special techniques required to take your own photos of the Aurora Borealis. You’ll be out until at least midnight so bring some warm clothes and your camera.

Included: transport, information about this mystical phenomenon, advice on how to capture the northern lights on your own camera, and late night refreshments.

Day 4:

Dog sledding in Arctic Tromso (10am-2pm)
Picture yourself sitting on your sled as it glides through the snow covered tundra being pulled by excited huskies. The snow capped peaks are off in the distance and its easy to imagine you are following in the footsteps of Amundsen. Then you stop.You can feel the fresh air bite your cheeks and you can smell the snow in the air, as you sit on your sled through the winter night.This adventure is quietness, howling of huskies, darkness, snow and cold. Being out in the cold, it is nice to know that a bonfire is waiting to defrost you. Dinner included.

Note! Dogsledding is only possible if enough snow and weather provides it!

Theatre of food and snowshoeing searching for the northern lights: (7pm-1am)
We would like to present an addition to fine views and tired legs to our guests. Join us for a meal prepared in the Lavvo in front of you while you look for the Northern lights. We promise you fresh and colourful dishes with smells to whet your appetite. After dinner your guide will take you snowshoeing to a nearby peak, away from all kinds of light pollution to challenge the lights. Wave with a white handkerchief to see if the lights show themselves, if they do they will come down to you when you wave something white.
Day 5:
Snowshoeing (10am-1pm)
We are delighted to invite you to participate on this fun activity. You are picked up at your hotel and brought out to areas where snow conditions are super for snowshoeing. Enjoy learning the particular technique to handle walking with bigger feet. This is challenging, fun and playing in the snow.

Included: transport from Tromso return, hot drink, snack and equpment.

Kicksleding search for the Aurora dancing (7pm-9pm)
We are delighted to invite you to participate on this fun activity. You are picked up at your hotel and brought into Tromsdalen for kick-sledgeing. Enjoy learning the particular technique to handle the kick-sledge on hard tracks into the valley. Our junior guides will find a suitable place to stop for a break. They will light a bon-fire and help you grill hot dogs. This is challenging, fun and playing in the snow.

Included: transport, hot drink, picknick bonfire and Kick sledge.
